SPECIALIST IN MOWING AND GRASSLAND HARVESTING MACHINERY with more than 65 years of experience
The roots and beginnings of the first products of the SIP brand go back to 65 years when in a small service workshop Agroservis in Šempeter and the first servicing of agricultural machinery began. In 1967 Agroservis was renamed SIP. In the same year was introduced the first hay harvesting machine – rake Sonček.
Today, SIP employs more than 300 highly qualified people, has a modern and orderly production, and annually devotes more than 10% of its sales volume to investments.

Modernization of production
We manufacture products according to the latest flexible industrial methods at the company’s headquarters in Slovenia. Everything we do is delivered in the highest possible quality.

New updates
“In each assembly of the balancing machine, we installed a lift bridge, which covers the entire workspace with a weight of one ton. In addition to the lift, we also installed welding fume extraction with an extraction system, to protect workers from toxic welding fumes,” explains our welding manager, David Štraus.

Did you know?
Did you know that in our production we use more than 55 tons of welding wire per year? 18 tons of this wire we use in robotic welding.
With robotic arc welding, we fully automate the arc welding process by the MIG process (M – metal, I – inert, G – gas), both the manufacture of the weld and the manipulation of welds. The quality, consistency, safety, and accuracy of robotic welding contribute to higher productivity, as compared to manual welding, industrial robots spend almost half as much time.

5S method
5S method represents a systematic approach to the orderliness and organization of jobs, and to achieving lean production. In SIP, the 5S system is not only a process, but also part of the culture and values that are reflected through that process.
