Spring has arrived and so have the preparations for the new grassland harvesting season. But the past few months have been very interesting for us here at SIP. SIP sales events in the first quarter of 2025 took place both at home and abroad. We have already attended 11 agricultural fairs, either on our own or together with our partners. In Slovenia, the Slovenian sales team made weekly presentations of our machineryand also took part in our first outdoor trade fair.

Opening of events in January

We started this year in the UK at Lamma with the presentation of SIP grassland harvesting machines and with building trust in the SIP brand. This year, a record 40,000 visitors gathered at the fairground to see the offer of more than 600 exhibitors.

Two other trade fairs attended by our partners took place almost in parallel. Belgium hosted Agriflanders, the largest Flemish agricultural and horticultural fair, where SIP grassland harvesting machines were presented by our Belgian partner Farmabel. From 17 to 19 January, the Agrarmesse Alpe-Adria took place in Klagenfurt. There, our Austrian partner EZ Agrar presented its range of products including SIP machines.

The Slovenian sales team booked Tuesdays and Thursdays in January for presentations of Slovenian agricultural machinery at various locations around Slovenia.

Short but eventful February

We started February in the UK again, specifically in Ulting, where the 65th DOE SHOW took place. It is one of the UK’s largest agricultural, construction and soil treatment events, organised by our partner there, Ernest Doe. A few days later, on 8th and 9th of February, our Polish partner Wanicki Agro, together with SIP’s Polish team, presented us at the AGRO-PARK 2025 agricultural fair in Poland.

The end of February was very busy for our Swiss partner Sepp Knuesel, which presented its range of products together with SIP machines at two trade fairs in Switzerland. Firstly, at the fairground in Sankt Gallen, where the Tier&Technik fair dedicated to the agricultural sector was held. And a few days later at AgriMesse Thun, a popular meeting point for professionals in the field of agriculture and forestry.

In February, the Slovenian team continued to actively carry out presentations of Slovenian agricultural machinery around Slovenia in cooperation with Slovenian agricultural machinery suppliers INO, GORENC and TAJFUN.

Entering spring in March

We entered March traditionally in Slovenia with the 29th Gregor’s Fair, which took place outdoors at the Hippodrome in Šentjernej. The weather was sunny and, together with the exhibitors, provided an excellent atmosphere for the many visitors.

The Polish and Slovenian teams presented the SIP machines at the 30th AGROTECH International Fair of Agricultural Technologies at the Kielce Exhibition and Congress Centre in the middle of the month. At the same time, the SIP Germany team attended the HeLa fair in Hessenhalle in Alsfeld, Germany.

Witractor, our Finnish partner, organised a forage day – REHUPÄIVÄ on the 19th of March.. It was a spring training and demonstration day for customers involved in forage harvesting. They presented the wide range of SIP disc mowers, the new STAR R 870|26 TC and the AIR HD 900 T pick-up rake.

At the end of the month, the 26th Spring International Fair in Bjelovar, the largest agricultural machinery fair in Croatia, was held on a cloudy and rainy days. Among the many exhibitors at the Gudovac fairground, the Slovenian sales team successfully presented SIP machines. In parallel, Kaunas, Lithuania, hosted Ką pasėsi 2025, the largest exhibition of agricultural innovations in the Baltic States, where SIP machines were presented by our Lithuanian partner Biržų žemtiekimas and where the AIR HD 900 T picker was awarded with a gold medal.

Start of demonstrations and outdoor fairs

April, like every year, brings us into the period when many outdoor events start. In Slovenia, we are preparing for the 30th Komenda Spring Agricultural and Handicraft Fair, which, like every year, will provide a varied offer and a social gathering for many visitors. In April, we are already planning machine demonstrations, one of the first to be organised with the Šentjur School Centre in Slovenia.

At the end of April, two more external fairs will be held with our partners abroad. In Germany, EDER Landtechnik will be present at the Agrarschau Allgäu and in Estonia, our Estonian partner Wihuri Agri will be present at the Maamess fair.

We are looking forward to the new season and the exciting events that await us this year. We invite you to visit us at the events and experience SIP with us. Up-to-date information on SIP events can be found HERE.
