CENTRAL STAR RAKES ARE DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONALS

The professional double-rotor STAR 650│20 T and STAR 720│22 T rakes are designed for fast and smooth raking. The perfect stability of the STAR center-trailed line gives an exceptional increase in work efficiency on larger areas and form a very clean, airy, and evenly shaped swath.

ONLY CLEAN GRASS CAN BECOME HIGH-QUALITY ANIMAL FEED

In grass harvesting, swathing is a critical point at which forage can be contaminated with soil and sand, resulting in an excessive ash content in the silage or hay. This negatively affects the health, productivity, and welfare of the animals or the quality of the animal products. Thanks to the patented SIP walking tandem axles, the STAR 650│20 T and STAR 720│22 T rakes follow the ground as much as 50% more smoothly compared to the standard tandem. The mounting of the walking tandem is shifted forward and the wheels remain close to the spring tines ensuring maximum rotor stability. This gives even greater responsiveness on uneven terrain and excellent ground adaptation even at higher working speeds and steep terrain. The swaths are clean and airy.

The modular rotors of STAR 650│20 T and STAR 720│22 T are dust-tight and equipped with ten and eleven tine arms per rotor, respectively. There are four pairs of spring tines on each arm. The spring tine arms holders are double-mounted, robust, and individually replaceable. They are made of quality materials that enable lightweight, minimal maintenance, and long machine life.

The spring tines move parallel to the ground, ensuring clean swaths.

The small rotor diameter of 2.86 m ensures excellent adaptation even on the most uneven terrains. The rotor’s drive via the Y gear allows a smaller working angle of the PTO shafts, thus reducing the weight on the PTO shaft and ensures a longer service life of the drive. Special cross-joint rotor mounting is designed for perfect 3D ground adaptation. Because the rotors move independently of the rake chassis or frame, the spring tines move parallel to the ground, ensuring clean swaths regardless of the working speed and unevenness of the terrain. The working height of the spring tines is also adjustable preventing turf damage and soil or sand contamination of the swath.

THE SHAPE OF THE SWATH IS IMPORTANT

Evenly designed, and right width of swaths enable fast and efficient forage harvesting. The STAR 650│20 T with a working width of 6.00 to 6.60 m and the STAR 720│22 T with a working width of 6.00 to 7.15 are equipped with mechanical or hydraulic (optional) width adjustment. This allows adjusting the swath width from 0.90 to 1.60 m on the 650 │20 T model and 1.30 to 1.85 on the 720│22 T model.

The work quality of the STAR rakes reflects by the uniform trapezoidal shape of the swath.

By working-width adjustment and with two modular rotors, the rake gives you control of the width of the swath according to the amount and dryness of forage at harvest. The work quality of the rakes reflects by the uniform trapezoidal shape of the swaths, which can be easily adjusted according to the pick-up device. In this way, the STAR 650│20 T and STAR 720│22 T rakes ensure the lowest possible nutrient losses with no leaves crumbling and clean, soil-free forage at harvest.

EXCEPTIONAL AGILITY OF THE RAKE

Despite the length, the STAR 650│20 T and STAR 720│22 T rakes are extremely maneuverable. The transport frame is equipped with a wheel steering mechanism connected with a 2-point pivoting linkage. This enables sharp turns up to 55 ° and ensures excellent tracking to the tractor.

Working with the STAR rake and 720│22 T is quick and smooth; the swaths are clean and evenly shaped.

Upgraded with innovative SIP solutions such as modular rotor and walking tandem axles, the STAR 650│20T and STAR and 720│22 T rakes are designed for high performance and form clean and even swaths. Special 3D pivoting rotor mounting enables sequential rotor lift and, in combination with the walking tandem, ensures excellent adaptation to the terrain. The work is done quickly and smoothly, and the swaths are clean and evenly designed. High productivity and high quality of forage are guaranteed!
