With the DISC HD 1000 D FS, the Slovenian company SIP presents the latest generation of mowing combinations with steel finger conditioner and conveyor belts for swath delivery.
SIP‘s range of mowers has now been extended with the DISC HD 1000 D FS, which is designed for agricultural service providers, agricultural cooperatives and organisations, as well as farmers involved in the methanisation industry. This brand-new machine has telescopic arms that allow the working width to be hydraulically adjusted between 9.20 and 10.20 m. Equipped with a steel finger conditioner, this double combination can be used in combination with a 3.40 m front mower. Optionally, it can be equipped with conveyor belts to form swaths from 1,70 to 2,52 m wide, or it can be used without conveyor belts. The two mower units, each with 8 discs, are equipped with a disc drive safety system with four vertical brass pins that protect the cutter bar in the event of overloading or collision. The DISC HD 1000 D FS is equipped as standard with a quick blade change system, independent hydraulic suspension of the units, and hydraulic lifting of the side protections. It also has ISOBUS control and sensors to monitor the gearbox operation. The SIP range also includes the 11 m wide DISC HD 1100 D FS mowing combination, which is also equipped with steel finger conditioner, but does not have the option of conveyor belts.
