Agricultural events in the autumn months took us to several foreign markets, where we strengthened the visibility and trust in the SIP brand by presenting innovative machines and technologies and systems for grassland forage harvesting.

Opening of autumn presentations in Germany

We started the autumn season with the Karpfhamer Fest & Rottalschau, considered one of the biggest agricultural events in Southern Germany. In fact, it is two events running in parallel and the former Rottalschau agricultural equipment exhibition has now evolved into one of the most important agri-tech fairs in Germany. We are represented at this fair by two partners from Germany, EDER Landtechnik and Gruber Landtechnik.

Following this, we were represented by our Dutch partner Verkoopkantoor Zonna B.V. at AgroTechniek Holland (ATH), the largest agricultural trade fair inthe Netherlands.

In the Balkan region, the 31st International Bjelovar Autumn Fair in Gudovac, Croatia, and INTERAGRO in Bjeljina, BIH, were held. Visitors to both fairs were welcomed by the Slovenian SIP sales team.

A busy event programme in France

The end of September and the beginning of October were highlighted by two major events in France. The SPACE International Livestock Showtook place at the Parc-Expo in Rennes, in the heart of one of the largest livestock regions in Europe. The SIP stand showcased the complete grassland harvesting line, from mowing combinations to pick-up rakes.

The French SIP team soon moved on to the Sommet de l’élevage event. This is Europe’s largest meeting dedicated to the livestock and agricultural industry, of which we are an important part with our grassland forage harvesting machines.

Strengthening partnerships in Poland

The Agro Show Bednary in Poland was an excellent platform to showcase our latest machines. In addition to the range of SIP machines on display, visitors were impressed by the flexibility and performance of the new generation SIP STAR 930|28 TC H rotary rake. At the show, we primarily strengthened existing partnerships in Poland and looked for new opportunities to expand the sales of our grassland harvesting programme.

Important international event in Italy

The EIMA fair in Bologna has put itself on the map as one of the most important international trade fairs for agricultural equipment. Together with our Italian partner SAVE S.p.a., we once again demonstrated our commitment to excellence. SIP grassland harvesting machinery was presented on a large stand and attracted a great deal of interest, especially from alfalfa producers.

Machine presentations in the Northern part of Europe

At the end of October, our partner WIHURI FI presented itself at the Finnish agricultural fair MaatalousKonemessut, which took place in Helsinki. This is one of the largest indoor agricultural events, where a wide range of agricultural machinery, equipment and services are available under one roof.

In early November, the traditional FTMTA Show of agricultural machinery took place at the Punchestown Event Centre in Ireland. The show is organised by the Irish Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association. There, SIP machines were presented under the auspices of our Irish partner FARMEC.

Following this, Agroteknikk was held at Nova Spektrum in Lillestrøm, Norway. Among the many innovative technologies presented at the fair, visitors were also able to see SIP technologies for harvesting quality forage at the stand of our Norwegian partner Orkel Direkte AS.

At the end of November, the Danish Agromek took place. This is the largest agricultural trade fair in Northern Europe, bringing together suppliers from the entire agricultural industry and showcasing many innovations from the industry. SIP grassland harvesting machines were presented by our Danish partner WekoAgro.

A diverse start to December

At the beginning of December, AGRAMA will be held in Bern, where our Swiss partner Sepp Knüsel will presented us, with a focus on the ALP segment. AGRAMA has been organised by the Swiss Agricultural Machinery Association (SLV) since 1977 and is held every two years at the BERNEXPO fairground in Bern.

In December, we will participate in the DeLuTa event with SIP’s German team. This event is intended for German agricultural service providers, i.e. contractors. DeLuTa offers its members and guests a professional range of services and is particularly important for the exchange of contacts and networking. The event takes place in December, every two years, at the Bremen Exhibition Centre.

At the beginning of December, Agrosalón a LES, an international fair for agriculture and forestry in Slovakia, will be  attended by our Slovakian partner AGRI CS Slovakia.

Contact with users is the key

Past events have shown that SIP is not only focused on the production of quality machinery, but also on spreading SIP brand awareness and establishing close relationships with our users. We are grateful for the trust shown by everyone who visited us at the events and thus contributed to the further development of the company.
