Showcasing a modern SIP centre and state-of-the-art agricultural machinery
On Friday, 21 March 2024, a house fair was held at the headquarters of SIP, d.d., in Šempeter in the Savinja Valley, attracting more than 700 visitors. They had the opportunity to see the modern production facilities and the SIP Centre – a functional complex designed to showcase the wide range of agricultural machinery on offer. The SIP Centre, which has served as a venue for various events, trainings and professional seminars for the past two years, gives visitors a direct experience of the machines and a better understanding of their use. “We are pleased to have received only positive feedback, which gives us additional motivation for future events,” said SIP Šempeter Marketing Director Miha Miheljak.
Special benefits and a wide range of offers at the SIP Marketplace
SIP offered special discounts to all visitors to the Home Fair, which they could use in the spare parts shop and for promotional materials. The SIP Marketplace was also an important part of the event, where various agricultural organisations and SIP Ambassadors presented their experiences of using SIP machines.

Diverse range of agricultural machinery
Visitors were able to see a wide range of grass harvesters and manure spreaders. The focus was on the ROBUST line, which is designed for medium and large farms and service providers. Among the models on display were disc mowers with different attachments, rotary tedders, the new generation of STAR R rotor rakes and AIR pick-up rakes. In addition, the entire ALP range was on display, and among the most powerful machines, the world’s largest mower combination was still on display in the SIP Centre.

SIP quality and technological sophistication
At SIP Šempeter, we have invested heavily in the quality of our products in recent years. We use first-class materials of proven origin, working mainly with Austrian and German suppliers. We also pay special attention to surface protection, as a quality finish is key to the long-term durability of the machines. Our modern paint line ensures a high level of resistance and durability of the finished products. Visitors to the fair had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the production and see first-hand the quality of the workmanship.
Future plans
SIP sells machines all over the world, with Slovenia remaining one of the most important markets. With our modernised production, we rank alongside the most established brands in the industry in terms of quality. We specialise in the production of agricultural machinery for grassland harvesting and organic fertiliser spreaders, employing nearly 300 people. Our experts are always on hand to provide expert advice on the most suitable machine for your farm’s specific needs.
At SIP, we want the House Fair to become a traditional event, so we plan to organise it every other year. In the meantime, we invite all interested parties to our upcoming events, where our team will be presenting SIP lawn harvesting equipment.
