SIP presents the new SPIDER 1300 I 12 T rotary tedder from HD line, which is above-standard in all respects. The special design of the trailed tedder is adapted for working on large surfaces. The tedder with 12 rotors and a large working width of 12.9 m is lightweight, while still highly robust and compact, and offers maximum time and energy efficiency. The durable and reliable construction, combined with an innovative rotor design, ensures an even spreading and tedding of the forage without damaging the turf.
With a working width of 12.9 m, the tedder can spread 5 swats of a mower with seven discs, ensuring quick forage spread and faster wilting, which is essential for the preservation of nutrients in the forage. The modular construction of the connected individual rotors allows for a large range of vertical terrain adjustment and more than 750 mm of following the terrain in the direction of travel.
A new design of linked safety railings prevents swinging and ensures the stability of the tedder and evenly spread forage. The rotors with 1.45 m in diameter are connected with a welded rectangular axle made of thick-walled tubes. A smaller diameter of the rotors ensures an even spreading of the forage, with each rotor individually adjusting to the terrain. The patented hydraulic rotor angle adjustment system greatly facilitates work and, combined with the multi-stage setting of wheel height, allows quick and easy adjustment of the rotor angle from 12° to 18°.
A robust rotary drive system with hexagon axle and gear units with semi-liquid grease ensure reliability when working on large surfaces. The rotors are doubly reinforced and consist of round arms that hold the tines of different lengths, where the inner tine is being shorter than the outer tine. Such innovative rotor geometry ensures an excellent forage flow and shape of the spreading, leaving the forage clean and the turf intact.
The drive system of the tedder is fitted with a double clutch, which protects the machine from overloading and thus prevents the drive from malfunctioning. The drive on the joints is equipped with a finger clutch, which ensures a durable and reliable operation. An innovative hydraulic folding system enables simple work preparation and stability during transitions.
A robust transport frame and compact chassis ensure excellent machine agility during transport. With an adjustable drawbar and a compact transport chassis, the tedder can reach speeds up to 40 km/h.
Robustness, stability and efficiency are the key features that SPIDER 13 I 12 T offers. The high durability of the load bearing elements, combined with the ingenious rotor design, ensures an uniform forage spread and effective tedding on the largest surfaces, regardless of the forage quantity. The trailed rotary tedder with twelve rotors is designed for maximum productivity and is a reliable choice for professional users and contractors.
