On Sunday, the 23rd of April 2023, KGZ Sloga and SIP Šempeter, in cooperation with KIS Jablje, organised a demonstration of the latest and innovative SIP grassland harvesting machines and John Deere tractors, which gathered more than 700 visitors in the nearby town Mengeš.
The demonstration took place on the fields of the Jablje Agricultural Institute, which were covered with a mixture of ryegrass and black clover.
SIP Šempeter presented a range of grass harvesting machines, including the SILVERCUT DISC disc mower, the DISC 1000 D BC belt mower, the SPIDER tedders, the STAR side and center rotary rakes, and the new AIR 900 T pick-up rake. These machines have been designed to allow efficient and fast grassland harvesting while maintaining the quality of the forage.
KGZ Sloga presented John Deere tractors, balers, a silage harvester, and bale handling equipment. These machines are suitable for use on a wide range of farmland and are mainly used for harvesting hay and silage.
The demonstration was a great opportunity for farmers to see the latest grassland harvesting technologies and learn more about their use and benefits. Visitors were able to see the machines in action and consult with experts and each other on best practices and technologies in grassland harvesting. Food and drinks were also available, and music was provided by Radio Veseljak.
